SV “Planeta” is a specialized vessel, which belonged to the Maritime Office in Szczecin.
The ship is 61.33 m long, 10.83 m wide, and its draft is 3.2 m. It was used for setting up and operating navigation buoys on the approach to seaports, neutralizing oil-derivative oil pollutants on the sea surface, and sounding the seabed. and carrying out rescue missions. The vessel is ice class L1. The drive consists of Cegielski-Sulzer 6AL25 / 30 diesel engines with a power of 706 kW (960 HP) each. They drive two set screws. Such a configuration of the engine room allows the vessel to reach a maximum speed of 13.8 knots. The crew of “Planet” consists of 12 people (max 24 people) which can be accomodate in 14 cabins.

The ship has not been operated since November 2020 on the sea. We only started the engines twice time (01.2023 and 09.2023 to change the location). All is working.
 
Further operation requires a survey by PRS ‘Surveyor due to the suspension of the Class Certificate and Safety Chart.
 
We did the certified UTM measurements in 01.2023.
